One day after the presidential election, only 28.6% of North Central results have been uploaded on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s result viewing portal.
While monitoring the commission’s results portal on Sunday evening, FIJ found out that only 45,731 results, which is 26%, out of the existing 176,846 polling units across the country have been submitted.
This means that 131,115 results are not accessible to Nigerians who wish to monitor the results.
A total of 27,309 polling units are in the north central, but only 7831 results were found on the portal at the last count.

FCT
The federal capital territory has 2,822 polling units in its six local government areas. Out of these polling units, only 877 results, that is 31%, are on the portal.
PLATEAU STATE
In Plateau state, 3789 results are missing on INEC’s portal. Only 812 results have been submitted out of the 4601 polling units in the 16 local government areas of the State.
KOGI STATE
Out of the 3036 polling units created in the 21 LGAs of Kogi state, only 527 results were found on INEC’s results viewing portal.
KWARA STATE
Kwara state has 16 local government areas, but one of the LGAs is yet to submit its result. Out of the 2922 polling units of the local governments where results have been submitted, only 1,158 results are on the portal.

BENUE STATE
In Benue, 1726 results were counted out of the 5102 polling units, which implies that INEC has only uploaded 34% results for the state.
NASARAWA STATE
As monitored by FIJ, INEC has only submitted 56% of Niger state’s results on its portal. Out of the 3043 polling units, FIJ found 1,691 uploaded results.
NIGER STATE
Of the 4950 polling units across the 25 local government areas of Niger state, 79% results are nowhere to be found because only 1,040 results have been uploaded on INEC’s portal.
