Access Bank has credited Simon Amajuoyi’s account with the sum of N18,500 missing for four months.
This is coming after FIJ reported that the bank refused to release the money sent from a First Bank Account belonging to Amajuoyi’s friend on May 24.
“On August 28, Access Bank notified me that the money had entered my account,” Amajuoiyi said, adding that he received the money in an account different from the one he sent to his friend.

“But I am thankful the money finally entered an account that belongs to me. Thank you, FIJ.”
Initially, he complained at the Access Bank branch in Isolo, Lagos, and was told to get a session ID from the sender, which he did. Later on, Access Bank informed him that he would not get his money, as none of their branches could trace the transaction.
However, the bank notified him that the money was in one of his three accounts after FIJ’s publication.
“I have three accounts with Access Bank. But I only use one. It shocked me when Access Bank notified me that the money entered another account,” he said.
