Zacheaous Adedeji, the chief travel consultant at De-Royals Travels and Logistics, an Ibadan-based travel agency, has finally secured a Canadian visa for Ahmad Olatunji.
In 2021, Ahmad, an Iwo man, had paid Zacheous a sum of N500,000 to help secure his travel documents but got nothing in two years.

However, on April 19, 2023, less than two weeks after FIJ reported the delay, Zacheous recommenced the process, and in less than a month, he finalised the process and secured Ahmad’s Canadian visa.
“He has done it. He requested for certain documents which I provided, and he sent a picture of the visa to me today,” Ahmad told FIJ.

Zacheous had reached out to FIJ to explain the delay in the visa process. According to him, it was not within his power to approve or deny a visa application, as his own part was only to assist.
“If I tried using a foreign browser to access his application on the Canadian portal, it might result in a revocation,” he said.
“There are others with pending applications as well, while some have been approved or denied. We take little responsibility for this decision (approval or denial) as we all know only the consular can decide applicants’ fates. We only assist in the process.
