Fidelity Bank has returned N10,000 to Mark Eka Ali, a businessman in Gombe State who experienced a dispense error in July.

This came three months after FIJ published a story on how the customer was debited without a refund.

Ali sent a message to FIJ on Saturday, saying that the financial institution had refunded his money.

“Thanks a lot for your efforts. Fidelity Bank finally refunded my N10,000 after your timely intervention. God bless FIJ,” Ali said.

He had earlier told FIJ that he wanted to use his Fidelity Bank card to withdraw from a Unity Bank ATM in July when the machine went off. His card got trapped in the machine and he was debited.
