Pwan Homes, a real estate company, has allocated two plots of land to Tope Brown, an Abuja-based man who purchased the land from the company in 2016.
This development came after FIJ’s report on the company’s refusal to allocate the land to the couple more than five years after they paid the dues.
A cheerful Brown, on Monday, said that he was happy the FIJ team intervened in the land collection process, which had failed despite his efforts in the last five years.

He said, “I am glad to inform you that Pwan Homes has given us our plots of land. I am in Lagos and have met with Austin Ozioma, their chairman. Together with all members of his management team, we were on the site where they allocated our plots to us.
“My wife and I are very grateful to the FIJ team, without which this would not have been possible. Thank you so much, FIJ.”
Earlier, FIJ reported that Brown and his wife paid N12 million in 2016 to Pwan Homes for two plots of land in Ajah, Lagos, but could not get value for their money because the real estate company allocated no land to them.

He claimed to have tried several times to possess the land, but every step he took took him further from it.
From his house in Abuja, Brown said he visited Lagos frequently to get his land but it yielded no success.
Brown said that when all his efforts failed to outwit Pwan Homes, he had no choice but to reach out to the FIJ for justice.
“Within 11 days after publication, I got justice. What I could not do all these years, FIJ did it,” he said.
