The Registrar estimated that 15 students, a teacher, and his wife had gone missing since the attack happened.

On Saturday evening, a group of bandits had also attacked three villages in Sokoto State and killed nine people.

Shehu Mohammed, the state’s police spokesman, said he would call FIJ back for updates on the situation but had not done so as of the time of this report.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time bandits would invade the college. In July, the provost and one other teacher were abducted but released after four days.
