14.07.2021 news BREAKING: Abductors of Kogi Monarch Demand 30m Ransom

Abductors of Alhaji Mohammed Adembe, a first-class traditional monarch in Kogi State, are demanding the sum of N30 million from his family.

The monarch, also known as the Adogu of Eganyi, was abducted in Ajaokuta Local Government Area of the state along the Okene-Adogo road.

Channels TV is reporting that the kidnappers called the monarch’s family around 1:00 pm on Wednesday to demand a ransom of N30 million.

Williams Ayah, the police spokesperson in the state, said security agents have been deployed to trail the abductors.

This incident occurred few days after a second-class Emir of Kajuru was abducted at his palace in Kaduna state.
