Abrahim Aniya, one of the over 100 students abducted from Bethel Baptist Secondary School in Kaduna State, on July 5, has been rescued.
According to Channels TV, Abraham was rescued with two other victims by security operatives along Kaduna-Kachia Road.

Shortly after the massive abduction, the kidnappers asked the parents of the schoolchildren to send foodstuffs, otherwise the abductees would die of starvation.
Wakili Madugu, the Vice-Principal of the school, would later announce that the bandits rejected the foodstuff the parents were able to gather because it was not up to the abductors’ demand.
