14.02.2022 Featured BREAKING: NDLEA Declares ‘Supercop’ Abba Kyari Wanted for Links to Drug Cartel

Abba Kyari, the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, has been declared wanted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for his alleged links to an international drug cartel.

Femi Babafemi, spokesman of the NDLEA, made the announcement in Abuja on Monday during a press conference.

According to Babafemi, NDLEA’s investigations have shown that Kyari is a member of an international drug syndicate. which operates across the globe.

DCP Kyari was suspended by the Police Service Commission (PSC) on August 1, 2020, pending the outcome of the investigation in respect of his indictment by the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States.

Kyari had been indicted in an intentional multi-million dollars internet scam perpetrated by Abass Rahmon, alias Hushpuppy.

According to the United State’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Kyari had conspired with six others, including the Nigerian Instagram celebrity Hushpuppi, to defraud a business person of over $1m.
