03.01.2022 news Brooks Estate Apologises to Lagos CP Odumosu ‘Over Improper Conduct by Gatekeepers’

The management of Brooks Estate, Magodo, Lagos, has tendered an apology to Hakeem Odumosu, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, over the rift between him and security officers at the estate.

Ayoola Lawson, chairman, Board of Trustee, Magodo Brooks Residential Association (MABRA), while pleading with the police boss in a signed statement on Monday evening, described the conduct of the estate’s security officers as “improper”.

“The conduct of the security men is highly regretted,” he said. I hereby wish to assure you that such a misconduct will never happen again.

“I thank you for your anticipated acceptance of our apologies and your assurance of settling the matter.”

FIJ had reported that the police commissioner ordered the arrest of four security officers who prevented him from entering the estate. Fatiregun, a widow resident in the estate, was also arrested in the process.
