Theodore Orji, a former Governor of Abia State, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission for allegedly misappropriating N551billion while serving as Abia State Governor between 2007 and 2015.

Orji was said to have embezzled his N500m monthly security vote as Governor, alongside Chinedu and Ogbonna, his sons.

As reported by The Punch, Chinedu who is the current Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, also turned himself in following his father’s arrest at the Abuja International Airport at about 10 am on Thursday.
