The 11 soldiers killed alongside one captain by bandits in the Konshisha Local Government Area (LGA) of Benue State on April 5 are one warrant officer, two sergeants, three corporals, one lance corporal and four privates.
FIJ had been in possession of their names since last week when it got hold of a classified document detailing how more than 150 bandits took out the military personnel in batches of five and seven, before setting their bodies ablaze and dumping them in a forest near Gbinde Village, Benue.
