A Twitter user with the handle @DasilvaOlamide has lamented that she risks losing her university admission as a result of Sterling Bank’s refusal to remit her school fees to her institution of learning.

She also added that she could be deported from the yet-to-be-known foreign country where the university is situated if the payment issue is not sorted out quickly.

In a Twitter thread shared on Wednesday, @DasilvaOlamide stated that she had initiated her Form A transaction with the bank since August 10 and had also written several emails to know its progress but had not received any positive response.

“I’m at the verge of losing my admission and getting a deportation because of Sterling Bank. I initiated my Form A since 10th August. I have sent them several emails showing them that my school requires the payment or I will be deported, my deadline is tomorrow. HELP!” she wrote.

She also said that the deadline for the remittance of the school fees is by 1 pm on Thursday October 27. She reiterated that since paying the fees almost three months ago, nothing has been done by the bank to ensure that the payment reflected at her school’s end.

“I only have till the end of today or it’s over. Sterling bank needs to do the needful ASAP @Sterling_Bankng,” she said.

“Sterling bank has still not done anything, please help me keep retweeting and tagging. Today is the deadline or I will be deported. It’s not fair that I have paid since August 10th and the money hasn’t been remitted to my school.
