Unknown gunmen have attacked Christ the King Catholic Major Seminary and St Albert Institute of Philosophy, Fayit Fadan Kagoman, Kaduna State, on Monday.
According to a post by Albertine Institute, Kafanchan, the institute’s Facebook page, the assailants abducted some students at the institution.
“No security [personnel] presently on the ground except local vigilante and hunters,” the post reads in part.
The attack was reported to have begun around 8 pm when the armed men entered the school and started shooting sporadically.

However, ASP Muhammad Jalige, Kaduna spokesperson, could not confirm the incident when speaking with FIJ. He said he had called the Area Commander and the DPO in the area for enquiries.
“I’m still expecting a response from our men covering the area,” he said.
