One of the #EndSARS protest promoters, Rinu Oduala, has vowed to sue the Central Bank of Nigeria for the “unlawful” freeze of her account.

Oduala made this vow minutes after a Federal High Court in Abuja ordered CBN to unfreeze the accounts of the #20 EndSARS protest promoters.

She said freezing her account, and that of 20 others, was “purely an act of intimidation”.

“It’s time to sue CBN for the unlawful freeze of my accounts,” she declared, via her Twitter page.

“I was accused of money laundering and terrorism but no investigations were done in the past 3 months.

“I have informed my lawyers, Falana and Falana Chambers and we will be suing!”

Oduala, a social media influencer, was one of the hundreds of Nigerian youths who took to streets last year to protest against police brutality.
