09.08.2021 news JUST IN: Niger State Commissioner for Information Kidnapped

Muhammad Sani Idris, the Niger State for Commissioner for Information, has been abducted.

The abduction was confirmed on Monday morning by Bala Kuryas, Niger State Commissioner of Police.

Kuryas, who just resumed duty, said Idris was abducted from his home town Baban Tunga in Tafa local Government Area of the state in the early hours of today.

“He was kidnapped in the early hours of today around 1am at Baban tunga in Tafa Local Government,” Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, Secretary to the State Government, was quoted by Daily Trust to have said.

“Security are already on the trail of the kidnappers; we hope they would discover him soon and rescue him unharm.”
