Living Faith Church International, better known as Winners Chapel, has sacked Saave Nomor, a pastor based in Benue State, for failing to meet the Church’s “growth index”.

It is unlikely that Nomor is the only pastor sacked by the church, as happens from time to time, but his letter of disengagement has managed to make its way to the public.

A copy of the letter dated June 25, 2021 and sighted by FIJ showed the church thanking the pastor for his service to the “commission”.

“Consequent upon the recent performance reviews which revealed that your Church growth Index falls below expectations, please be informed that your services as a Pastor-in-Charge are no longer required from this Commission with immediate effect,” read the farewell letter to the pastor, signed by Adebisi O. Aboluwade, Executive Secretary, Living Faith Church Worldwide.

“You are to vacate the official accommodation (where applicable) and handover all properties of the Ministry in your custody, including your Staff Identity Card to the Area Pastor before departure. May you find grace from God for a new beginning.”

No response was given when FIJ reached out to the Living Faith Church via Phone number posted on its official website.

As expected, this development has generated intense conversations on social media.
