Blessing Otunla, a graduate of the University of Abuja, has been found naked in a drain at Iddo area of the Federal Capital Territory.

Otunla, who studied English Language at the university, had travelled from Oyo State to Abuja on Saturday to get her transcript before she was found dead on Sunday.

A relative of Otuola who simply identified himself as Ayobami had expressed grief on social media, announcing the sudden death of his cousin.

“I lost a cousin yesterday, and it’s emblematic of the state of the country. Why do graduates need to travel all the way for transcript?” his said via his Twitter page. “She travelled to Abuja for her transcript and was found dead in a gutter. So sad.”

FIJ obtained gory pictures of Otuala lying naked on bare floor after she was found in the drain.

This incident occurred few weeks after Iniubong Umoren, a Philosophy graduate of the University of Uyo, was found raped and dead.

Umoren had announced on Twitter that she was looking for a job but Uduak Akpan, suspected killer of Umoren, would later confess to have raped and murdered her after offering her a non-existing job.

Mariam Yusuf, the Police spokesperson in the FCT, had confirmed the incident and pledged that the police would probe the matter.
