The official Twitter handle of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) is still active despite its own announcement to broadcasters that it would enforce the Federal government’s ban on Twitter operations in Nigeria.

As of 2:30 p.m on Monday, FIJ observed that the NBC account, which has over 24,000 followers, is yet to be disabled although the regulatory body itself instructed all Nigerian broadcasting stations to “de-install their Twitter handles”.
