Abdulsemiu Ogunjobi, a suspended traditional ruler of Orile Ifo, a town in Ogun State, has been arraigned in court for assaulting Abraham Arinola, an elderly man believed to be one of his chiefs.

Ogunjobi appeared in court on Tuesday, following a viral video that showed him verbally and physically assaulting Arinola.

The victim knelt and prostrated on a dirt road while Ogunjobi and some men cursed him and his family members. Arinola’s head was slapped as he was accused of conspiracy.
