Debo Adesina, Nigeria’s ambassador to Togo, over the weekend hosted an evening cocktail event to celebrate Nigeria’s independence.

In a bid to mark the 62nd anniversary of the country’s freedom from colonial rule, Adesina played host to Affoh Atcha-Dedji, Togo’s minister of transportation, aviation and roads, who represented Faure Gnassingbe, Togo’s president.

He also had members of the diplomatic community over for a symbolic cake-cutting and merriment.
