Dorathy Tirnom Yohana, a 300 Level Student of Greenfield University killed by her abductors, has been buried in Kaduna State.

She was among the five students of the university recently murdered by armed bandits.

On Wednesday, a burial service was held for Dorathy at ECWA Goodnews, Narayi High-Cost in Kaduna.

Armed bandits had stormed Greenfield University premises last Wednesday, kidnapping 20 students and three staff of the school.

Few days after abduction, three of the students were found shot dead near the school premises. It was gathered that the bandits had killed the students for failure to provide the ransom demanded from their parents.

Another two were also killed barely 72 hours later and their remains were also found near the school premises.

“Security agencies have just reported to the Kaduna State Government the recovery of two more dead bodies of Greenfield University students, killed by armed bandits today, Monday 26th April 2021,” Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner for Kaduna State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, had said in a statement posted on Facebook.
