Isaac Bristol has arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja for his bail hearing, FIJ has gathered.
Bristol, whom the police believe to be an anonymous whistleblower and leak journalist behind the @PIDOMNigeria handle on X, will know his fate when Justice Emeka Nwite rules on his bail application.
Also present in court were Omoyele Sowore, publisher of Sahara Reporters, and several persons accused of treason for participating in the August 1-10 #EndBadGovernance protest.
Pictures FIJ saw on X confirmed Bristol’s presence in court. FIJ also called Deji Adeyanju, Bristol’s lawyer, and he confirmed his client had appeared.

Bristol last appeared in court on September 11, but Nwite adjourned his bail hearing till Friday.
The police filed nine charges against Bristol. These charges border on terrorism, money laundering, cybercrime and evidence tampering.
According to the charge sheet, Bristol used the X handle to incite members of the public to protest in a bid to topple the government, leaked documents in violation of the Official Secrets Act, received money which were proceeds of fraud, and destroyed his phone when policemen broke into his house to abduct him.
Bristol has denied links to this X handle. He insists the police are holding him illegally and violating his fundamental human rights.
