A petition seeking justice over the death of Timothy Adegoke, an MBA student at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, Osun State, has been submitted to the Federal House of Representatives.

On Thursday, Oluyemi Taiwo, a member representing Ibarapa Federal Constituency, Oyo State, presented the petition to the house for further consideration.

“I have a petition from Mr. Adegoke Adegbade in an appeal for justice over the death of Mr. Adegoke Timothy Oluwadamilare, who travelled to Ile-Ife OAU to write his MBA exam and was lodged at Hilton Hotel and Resorts in Ile-Ife between 5th and 7th November 2021,” the lawmaker said.

“The dastardly act was carried out in the hotel within the said date, according to police investigation.”
