27.09.2022 Featured Terrorists Kill Police Inspector in Katsina

Bandits killed Idris Musa, a police inspector, and razed his vehicle along Katsina-Jibia highway, Katsina State, on Monday.

Daily Trust reported that the killers also abducted commuters around 8 am in Makera community, a few kilometers from Katsina.

Witnesses claimed that the terrorists blocked the road in an attempt to stop a commercial vehicle conveying passengers to Katsina town.

“They killed him on the spot and abducted many passengers who boarded some commercial vehicles from Jibia Local Government to Katsina town for their daily businesses,” Gambo Isah, the Katsina State Police spokesperson, said.

On Saturday, some terrorists also kidnapped 22 people in the Birnin Gwari communities of Kaduna State, killing three in the process.

The terrorists invaded Hayin Gada of Damari community in Kazage Ward, killing Sanusi Zubairu and Kabiru Zubairu, residents of Damari. They went on to loot shops and kidnap 12 other persons.

Ishaq Usman Kasai, the chairman of Birnin-Gwari Emirate Progressive Union (BEPU), issued a statement on Monday narrating the terrorist attack.

According to Kasai, the terrorist band killed one person at a farm located around Birnin-Gwari/Kaduna road and kidnapped six others.
