The University of Greenwich, United Kingdom, has reinstated a Nigerian Twitter user, @realityoflilife, who lost his studentship due to Zenith Bank’s failure to process his tuition two months after approval.
@realityoflilife revealed the new development via his Twitter account on Thursday.
“I believe I should say an exceptionally enormous thanks to everybody that aided, retweeted, liked and shared my tweet on all web-based platforms. I truly feel a debt of gratitude and cannot thank you all enough on the grounds that you all saved my life,” he tweeted.
“(I) saw everything, and they have processed my tuition fee transaction effectively. Likewise, it has been affirmed by my university, and I have been reinstated to the university. “
@realityoflilife had narrated how he attempted to pay his tuition in August and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) approved his Form A, a document that allows bank customers to purchase foreign currency for the purpose of fulfilling payment obligations.
“I have been withdrawn from the university in the UK on Monday because Zenith Bank refused to treat my Form A that was approved by the CBN in August 2022,” @realityoflilife tweeted on November 1.

“Fortunately for me, the university has given me the grace until Friday 04/11/2022 to pay and I would be reinstated, but Zenith Bank is not responding to my emails nor processing my transaction.
“I think I would rather commit suicide than be deported to Nigeria in my final year. It is really sad.”
With his tuition confirmed, @realityoflilife can now continue as a student at the Greenwich Business School.
