The Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ) is hiring experienced professionals for the positions of programmes, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) officers.

PROGRAMMES OFFICER
Key Job Description
- Identify relevant opportunities and coordinate the design and development of projects for the identified opportunities;
- Develop and ensure timely submission of grant proposals, concept notes, reports, work plans and other relevant programme documentation;
- Ensure that project implementation is in accordance with the established work plan, timeline, and proposed outcome;
- Establish and strengthen the organisation’s networking with donors and relevant stakeholders to develop grant-making and programmatic partnerships and collaborations.
Required Qualifications
- At least two (2) years of direct experience in writing grant proposals and implementation of social development projects;
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
- A critical understanding of and deep commitment to social justice and human rights issues;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision;
- Ability to comfortably work with major Microsoft suites and Google office tools;
- Professional writing and communication skills.
Remuneration: Annual net salary is ₦2,400,000.00

MONITORING & EVALUATION (M&E) OFFICER
Key Job Description
- Develop a monitoring and evaluation framework for the organisation and its projects;
- Maintain the M&E database, analyse findings and monitor the sustainability of project results;
- Produce reports on M&E findings and prepare presentations based on the findings as required;
- Support the programmes officer in the development and design of projects.
Required Qualifications
- At least two (2) years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E in project development;
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
- Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision;
- Ability to comfortably work with major Microsoft suites and Google office tools;
- Professional writing and communication skills.
Remuneration: Annual net salary is ₦2,400,000.00
