Just over 48 hours after a haulage truck fell over and crushed nine people to death in Ojuelegba, two more containers have crashed in the Ojota area of Lagos.

FIJ obtained video footage of residents alighting from their vehicles to trek the distance as two containers cut off traffic on one side of the road.

Emmanuel, an eyewitness, told FIJ that the gridlock stretched on the road linking Ojota to Maryland.

“There were two containers lying on the road when I passed there this afternoon. They fell from the trailers carrying them and cars were stuck on that side of the road,” Emmanuel told FIJ.

“I don’t think there was any death. There were no bodies at the scene when I got there. It was just another truck disrupting traffic on the road.”
