Thugs from the All Progressive Congress (APC) have been meddling in the voting process by instilling fear among voters in the Fadeyi area of Lagos, FIJ can report.

FIJ learned the thugs were intimidating people in the region who wanted to vote for the Peter Obi, candidate of the Labour Party, or Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

A source resident in Celestial Avenue in Fadeyi, Somolu, told FIJ that she was heading home at about 10 a.m. when she saw ‘Femi JPlum’, the king of boys in the area, alongside the APC chairman in the Isaac John Polling unit.

She said JPlum and the APC chairman ordered a dissatisfied female corps member to keep her mouth shut.

“They went towards the ballot box and made sure that one man voting was voting APC. The APC chairman was saying he was going to kill anyone who votes for the Labour Party,” she said.

In a video obtained by FIJ, some thugs were asking rhetorically why Labour Party voters could not stay in Anambra. A voice in the video promised to kill anyone who voted for Labour Party.

“No Obidient for here [sic]. If Lagos wasn’t good, you wouldn’t be here. If you vote for Labour or PDP here, we go kill you,” said the thugs.
