Residents of the Epe Local Government Area of Lagos have stormed into a Zenith Bank branch over scarcity of the new naira notes.

One of them, who had been frustrated by the shortage of the new notes, could be seen destroying the iron gate and paving the way for other angry youths into the bank.

They went directly to the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) stand, trying to get a few notes from the ATM.

FIJ had reported how aggrieved youths in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, expressed their grievances on Friday.

The residents broke into a WEMA Bank branch, destroying the iron gate and the aluminum window.
