A yet-to-be-identified security officer has been caught on camera humiliating a commercial driver on the road in the Ikeja area of Lagos.

An FIJ reporter was an eyewitness to the officer, who’s suspected of being a soldier, ordering the bus driver to get out of his vehicle to do frog jumps on Thursday morning.

The officer was driving a black Peugout 206 with plate number KRD981FQ when he almost collided with the yellow minibus’ side. He drove from behind the bus as the car tried to find space beside the bus. The officer hit the side of the bus with an unseen object and stopped with the traffic.

This security agent got out of his car and ordered the driver to turn off his engine. He then told him to get out of the bus. He shouted his orders for the commercial driver to do frog jumps.

It was a few minutes to 9 am and the commuters had just approached Sheraton Hotel on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way.

The officer was not in uniform so FIJ could not immediately confirm if he was with the Nigerian army or the police. Some eyewitnesses, however, concluded he was a soldier.

“What is all this now? What is all of this? Everybody is trying to find his way to go. Okay, look at what he’s causing for all the other people at the back. This is rubbish,” a passenger on the bus commented.
