Zenith Bank and Parkway ReadyCash have refunded N30,000 to Jeffrey Aloye Onoapor, a Nigerian resident in New Zealand.

This came one month after FIJ’s report detailing how Onoapor’s N30,000 got stuck between Zenith Bank and Parkway ReadyCash on October 20 while making payment for the issuance of a police extract and character reference letter for his wife on the Police Specialized Services Automation Project (POSSAP) portal.

Although Zenith Bank generated a receipt for a successful transaction, his payment status on the POSSAP portal kept displaying ‘pending’.

He requested a refund from Zenith Bank but was informed that they could not reach Parkway ReadyCash directly.

FIJ, however, contacted Parkway ReadyCash and informed Zenith Bank of this through Onoapor.

Onoapor told FIJ on Thursday evening that Mrs. Jennifer, Zenith Bank’s Lagos airport branch manager, finally received a response from Parkway and his money was refunded.
