Sheriff Oborevwori, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag bearer in the just-concluded gubermatorial election in Delta State, has been announced winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Oborevwori walloped Ovie Omo-Agege of the All Progressives Congress (APC), according to the final official declaration made on Monday.

He received 360,234 votes, while Omo-Agege trailed behind him with 240,229. Labour Party came a distant third with 48,047 votes.
