Bola Tinubu, Nigeria’s president-elect, has been linked to expensive properties in the United Kingdom.
In a recent report by Bloomberg, corporate documents revealed that Seyi Tinubu, the president elect’s son, is the owner of a $10.8 million London mansion which was to be confiscated by the Nigerian government in 2017.
The property was reported to be owned by Kolawole Aluko who acquired it from crime proceeds before Seyi became the owner in 2017.
Besides this property, some other properties in the United Kingdom have been linked to the president-elect.

The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) reported that dozens of properties numbering about 20 acquired while Tinubu served as governor of Lagos State had been uncovered.

Tinubu is expected to be sworn in as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on May 29.
