22.12.2021 news JUST IN: FG Shuts Down Globacom’s Abuja Station Over N4.7bn Debt

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has, on Wednesday, shut down a facility belonging to Globacom (Glo) Nigeria in Wuse 2, Abuja, over an alleged N4.7 billion debt.

Musa Nuhu, NCAA Director-General, led the action, with the supervision of Sen. Hadi Sirika, Minister of Aviation, Daily Trust reports.

According to Nuhu, the shutdown will continue on other Globacom’s main switch centres (MSCs) across the country until the company undertakes to pay with a schedule.
