07.03.2022 news Police ‘Arrest’ Driver of BRT Bus Boarded by Late Bamise Ayanwole

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested the driver of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) bus in which Bamise Ayanwole last boarded.

Jubril Gawat, Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on New Media, revealed this in a tweet.

Adekunle Ajisebutu, Public Relations Officer of the Police in the state, also confirmed the development, telling journalists: “The driver of the BRT has been arrested.”

Andrew Nice Omininikoron, the BRT driver, had been wanted by the police since investigations commenced on the February 26 dissappearance of Bamise, who was confirmed dead on Monday.
