Kuda Bank has made a reversal of N14,600 to Adeniyi Adewale Daniel, a Lagos-based businessman whose attempt to withdraw through the Union Bank ATM failed on March 30.

This came after FIJ reported that Daniel used a Kuda Bank card to withdraw N14,600 from a Union Bank ATM for an item he purchased in a super market. It failed, but there was no reversal for two months.

“Thank you so much FIJ. In just three days of FIJ’s involvement in my Kuda Bank reversal issue, I have got the reversal today,” excited Daniel said.

Daniel told FIJ that when he noticed the ATM dispense error, he reached out to Kuda Bank for a reversal. He was promised over and over again that he would receive the money, but it was not honoured.

Daniel said he had tried every channel to file his complaints with the micro-finance bank since March, but nothing was done until FIJ’s involvement.
