22.05.2021 news REVEALED: Pilot Who Died with COAS was Preparing for His Wedding

Flight Lieutenant Taiwo Olufemi Asaniyi, the officer who flew the military aircraft that crashed-landed on Friday at the Kaduna Airport, killing all passengers onboard, had his wedding introduction two months ago and was planning the wedding proper before the calamity, his friend has revealed.

The friend, who uses the handle @victor_kings on Twitter, said hours after the crash, and it was confirmed by military authorities, that he was going to be Asaniyi’s best man at the wedding.

“…Flight Lieutenant Asaniyi T.O. he flew the plane. We were planning his wedding, I was going to be his best man,” he wrote.

Friends of the deceased Airforce officer expressed their surprise that Asaniyi had died.

“Ahhh no now not Mr Asaniyi. Still saw his WhatsApp status update this week. Dear Lord!!!!!,” @blessnoyiz wrote.

“Taiwo Agba I still cannot believe that you are gone… why?,” @WasiuOkunade wrote.

Eleven people died in the plane crash, including LT. Gen. Attahiru Ibrahim, the chief of army staff.
