William Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry Worldwide, has ruled out the possibility of halting his Twitter activity based on the suspension of Twitter operations by the Nigerian government.

Making his stance known on Twitter on Monday afternoon, Kumuyi insisted that the content from his handle is not limited to Nigeria but “targeted at a global audience in more than five continents and over 100 nations”.

He added that content can also be shared from any of the said locations across the globe.

“In view of the Twitter ban in Nigeria, please note that the content shared on this handle is targeted at a global audience in more than 5 continents and over 100 Nations and we share the content from any of these locations,” he tweeted.

Kumuyi is not the first to make such a decision among Nigerian pentecostal ministers.

He is joined by Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and Godman Akinlabi, the Lead Pastor at The Elevation Church and some others

Abubakar Malami, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), had however ordered for the prosecution of anyone found flouting the federal government’s directive.
