24.06.2021 news JUST IN: Finally, Court Grants Bail to ‘Baba Ijesha’

A high court sitting at Ikeja, Lagos, has granted bail to Omiyinka Olanrewaju, popularly known as Baba Ijesha.

Baba Ijesha is standing trial for allegedly assaulting a 14-year-old girl sexually in the home of comedienne Adekola Adekanya, popularly called ‘Princess’.

According to BBC Pidgin, the Nollywood artist was granted bail to the tune of N2million and two sureties. He is expected to meet the bail condition within seven days.

BREAKING: Baba Ijesha Granted Bail on Health Grounds

The accused had been in custody at the State CID, Panti, before he was first granted bail on health grounds. However, on June 16, a magistrate court sitting at Yaba, Lagos, revoked the bail on the grounds that the case had been transferred to the Ikeja High Court.
