Two freight agents have been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) over attempts to smuggle 26.20kg cannabis concealed in Golden Morn packs through the Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) shed for export to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In a statement released on Sunday by Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA’s spokesperson, the agents were arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos State.

The agency stated that the cannabis was abandoned at the shed before the airport security operatives transferred it to the NDLEA.
