03.07.2021 Justice VIDEO: Police Watch as Crowd Surrounds Trader Killed at Ojota

Video and pictorial evidence have emerged on how a young trader simply identified as Jumoke was shot dead by a stray bullet on Saturday afternoon during Yoruba Nation Rally at Ojota area of Lagos State.

In a video obtained by FIJ, Jumoke’s corpse was seen wrapped in a wide piece of green cloth and taken to a corner in front of Ojota garage for examination.

As soon as the eyewitnesses confirmed that the young trader had died, they broke down into tears while the policemen and soldiers took pictures of the scene.

FIJ confirmed that the Lagos policemen fired live bullets, teargas canisters and sprayed Water Cannon to disperse protesters and journalists present.
