Police in Lagos State have detained Owoduni Ibrahim, popularly known as Primeboy, for questioning over the demise of Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

Ibrahim turned himself in at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, on Thursday.

In a video, FIJ saw Primeboy being led by a lawyer into the SCID. He covered his face with a nose mask.

Earlier on Wednesday, the police declared Ibrahim wanted and offered a N1 million bounty to whoever could provide him.

Mohbad died under mysterious circumstances on September 12, 2023, and many have speculated that Azee Fashola (popularly known as Naira Marley), his former record label boss, had a hand in his death.

Others have alleged that Primeboy and Mohbad had an altercation on the Sunday before the latter’s demise.

As of press time, results of an autopsy performed on Mohbad’s body were yet to be made public.
