Three medical students of Abia State University (ABSU) have been killed in a road accident that happened on Thursday.

The Abia State University Medical Students Association, in an announcement on Friday, named the deceased students as Ojike Theophilus, Okpanku Favour and Okorie Felix.

The students were said to be returning to the medical college from the induction organised for their senior colleagues at ABSU main campus, Uturu, when the accident occurred.

Their car was said to have crashed into a bush, leading to the fatal accident.

The victims, two males and one female, were in their final and penultimate years, respectively.
