Less than three months after the grading of Unu-Ese road within Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency of Edo State, a part of it is being washed away by erosion and the bridge is also about to collapse, FIJ can report.

According to Tracka, N50 million was allocated to the bridge project commissioned by Peter Akpatason, the Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, but nothing has been done about the bridge till date.

A resident of the community who took the video described the condition of the road as “very shocking”.

The project was contracted to S & B Dolmat Nigeria Limited, a construction company that is currently inactive on the Corporate Affairs Commission’s website.

Akpatason didn’t answer calls to his line or reply to the text message sent to him.

Meanwhile, FIJ had recently reported a few days ago that another road/drainage project commissioned by the lawmaker was poorly executed.
