The National Executive Council of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will hold its meeting tonight in Abuja.

The meeting, which is a gathering of the union’s leadership, was called to allow the union’s leadership to make the ultimate decision on the ongoing strike.

“We will have a meeting today and it will last overnight so that we will be given enough time to deliberate and make a conclusion,” Punch quoted a source in Abuja as saying.

However, the source declined to answer when asked if the strike will be called off.
