Chisom Uzor Michael, a hair vendor, has told FIJ how Faith Osayi, the CEO of Mudiz Hair in Lagos, robbed her of N379,500.
Michael said that she discovered Mudiz Hair and made an order on Instagram in February, when the company was running a promotion.

On March 1, Michael paid N379,500 to Osayi for 31 bundles of hair. She was told her package would be delivered to her in 30–40 working days, but over 40 working days later, she still has not received her package.

Michael further said that in April, Osayi requested additional N1,000 for each bundle of hair ordered during the February sale from all her buyers. She said that while she was reluctant, she made the payment because Osayi had told those who asked for a refund that they would have to wait until anytime she was ready, and that they could do nothing about it.
On April 9, Michael paid the extra N1,000 requested, a total of N31,000 for 31 bundles of hair.
She said she contacted Osayi again around July or August and she told her they needed to confirm her payment, which they had done in March.
Michael was later informed that Osayi had gone on holiday, and that she would have the hair delivered when she returned to Nigeria.
Michael said that Osayi contacted her about two weeks ago and told her to order a different product or continue waiting because the initial order was not available.
Michael said that when she asked Osayi to send pictures of the available hair, she declined.
On Monday, Osayi made a post on her page, and when Michael commented, asking why she hadn’t received her hair despite paying for it, she was blocked.
FIJ phoned Osayi and sent her a text message but received no response. Messages sent to her via Instagram and WhatsApp had also not been responded to at press time.
