11.08.2021 news JUST IN: Bandits Abduct Eight-Month-Old Baby in Zamfara

Armed bandits in Zamfara have kidnapped the eight-month-old baby of Babangida Damba, a former councillor of Tudun-Wada Gusau Ward in the state.

The gunmen also abducted Hassana Saudaki, the ex-councillor’s wife, when they invaded his residence on Wednesday at the Government Residential Quarters, shooting sporadically.

Damba told Channels Television that the gunmen started their operation around 12:00am, shooting for over one hour, before leaving with his wife and son to an unknown destination.

During the raid, Damba called the Police to come to his rescue but they did not show up until 3:00 am after the criminals had long gone with his wife and son.

He said he recovered 17 bullets fired by the gunmen at the main door of his house to access the sitting room.
