Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, has defeated Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, his home state.
This was based on the collation of results at the state’s Yaba collation centre of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Obi won nine local government areas in the state. They are Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Kosofe, Alimosho, Ikeja, Oshodi-Isolo, Ojo and Somolu.
