Aero Contractors, an airline company, has refunded Francisca Nengi (not real name), an Abuja-based civil servant, after sitting on her application for a refund for a month.

This came after FIJ published a report on the company’s refusal to release her money.

Nengi told FIJ she was happy to have her N53,510 refunded to her in full on Saturday.

“Thank you very much, FIJ. I really appreciate your efforts in helping me get my money back from Aero Contractors. You are doing a great job. Thank you,” Nengi told FIJ.

FIJ reported on Friday that the airline company withheld the source’s money for over a month after her flight was cancelled.

She told FIJ she requested for a refund because the airline company cancelled her flight a day before takeoff.

Nengi booked a Yola-to-Abuja flight for February 14 but had to get on another flight to Abuja.
